What is a pilot engagement?

Experience our services before making a longer-term commitment.

A pilot service is a short-term, clearly defined engagement that allows your business to experience our service delivery before moving into a longer-term managed services arrangement.

We work with you to identify an operational need, agree on the scope of work, establish expectations and deliver against measurable objectives within an agreed period.

It is a practical way to understand whether our people, processes and approach are right for your business.

Why start with a pilot?

A more considered way to outsource.

You should understand what you are committing to. A pilot gives both sides a practical basis for making that decision.

Lower initial commitment

Begin with a defined service scope and agreed duration instead of immediately entering a long-term arrangement.

Practical service evaluation

Experience how we communicate, manage workflows, handle responsibilities and deliver the agreed work.

Clearer long-term decisions

Use the pilot review to understand service suitability, operational requirements and opportunities for improvement.

Let's find your starting point

Your business does not have to figure everything out alone.

Tell us what is taking up your team's time, where your operations need support or what you want to improve. We will explore whether a pilot, including a free diagnostic pilot on your existing tools, is the right starting point.

Frequently asked questions

Questions about our pilot services.

Here are some things businesses typically want to understand before starting a pilot engagement.

How long does a pilot engagement last?
The duration depends on the service scope and your business requirements. A pilot may run for 14 or 30 days, or another mutually agreed period that allows sufficient time for delivery and evaluation.
How much does a pilot cost? Is it free?
Our standard pilot engagements are paid, because they involve resources, service delivery and operational management. Pricing depends on the agreed scope, duration, workload, coverage and tools. We will discuss your requirements and provide a proposal before the engagement begins. For some businesses we also offer a short, free diagnostic pilot (see the next question).
Can I start with a free pilot using my existing tools?
For some businesses, yes. We can run a short, time-boxed diagnostic pilot on one channel or workflow using the tools and resources you already have. We agree the scope, success measures and review date up front, and you give us the access, documentation and a named contact we need. At the end, you receive a findings report with our recommendations on the tools and resources that would improve results, along with a costed proposal for the next stage. Any continuation is agreed separately. Get in touch to find out whether this suits your business.
Do I have to sign a long-term contract?
No. A pilot is designed as a separate, defined engagement. Any longer-term arrangement will be discussed and agreed separately after the pilot review.
Can I choose only one service?
Yes. You can begin with a specific service area such as customer experience, growth and community management, or business operations. The scope will be tailored to your needs.
What happens when the pilot ends?
We review the agreed deliverables and performance measures with you. If the arrangement is suitable, we can discuss transitioning into a recurring managed services agreement. You are not automatically committed to a longer-term contract.
Can a pilot be customised for my business?
Yes. Every business has different operational needs. We will work with you to establish a realistic scope, suitable deliverables and measurable expectations.
