Who should handle your request?

It depends on whose data we are processing.

Airsense may act as a Controller for some Personal Data and as a Processor for Personal Data handled on behalf of a Client.

When Airsense is the Controller

This can include Personal Data relating to our own prospects, suppliers, applicants, business contacts and personnel.

  • Airsense will assess and handle the request.

This can include Personal Data Airsense processes while providing customer support, business operations, community management or other services to a Client.

  • The Client generally remains the Controller.
  • Airsense will route the request to the appropriate Client.
  • Airsense will provide reasonable assistance as required under the applicable agreement.
  • Airsense will not independently determine the Client's response unless authorised or legally required.

Tier 2

Detailed privacy request framework.

The following information explains how Airsense approaches privacy requests in more detail.

1. Scope

Airsense accepts requests concerning applicable data protection rights, including access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent and rights relating to automated decision making where such rights apply.

Complaints concerning the handling of Personal Data may also be submitted through the available privacy channels.

2. Identity verification

We may need to verify your identity before providing Personal Data or taking certain actions. Verification will be proportionate to the sensitivity of the information involved and the risk associated with the request.

We aim to request only the information reasonably necessary for verification. Where a person acts on behalf of another individual, we may request evidence confirming their authority to act.

If identity cannot reasonably be verified, we may be unable to fulfil a request involving disclosure of Personal Data.

3. Response time

Airsense will handle requests within the timeframe required by the law applicable to the relevant processing.

The applicable response period may depend on the type of request, the identity verification process, the applicable jurisdiction, the complexity of the request and other legally relevant circumstances.

Where an extension or additional information is legally permitted or required, we will communicate this where appropriate.

4. Exceptions and limitations

A request may be refused or partially fulfilled where an applicable legal exemption, restriction or other lawful condition applies.

Examples may include protection of third party rights, legal privilege, legal or regulatory retention obligations, applicable legal holds, or other circumstances recognised by Applicable Data Protection Law.

Where permitted, we will explain the reason for a refusal or partial refusal and provide information about available complaint or review routes.

5. Secure handling

Privacy requests may contain sensitive information. Airsense will use appropriate security measures when receiving, reviewing, storing and responding to requests.

Personal Data submitted through this page should be limited to information necessary to identify and process the request.

6. Complaints and escalation

If you believe your Personal Data has not been handled appropriately, you may contact Airsense through the privacy channel provided on this website.

Where applicable, you may also have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection or supervisory authority.

Protect your information

Please do not include passwords, payment card numbers, authentication codes or other information that is not necessary to process your privacy request. If additional information is required, Airsense will explain what is needed.
